“Despite some pushback, voters in the Hartland Consolidated Schools district overwhelmingly approved an operating millage renewal that will raise more than $5.5 million annually. . .
More than 76 percent of voters supported the measure, with 4,169 "yes" votes and 1,275 "no" votes, according to unofficial election results in Livingston County. . .
the recently formed Livingston Integrity PAC, which identifies as a non-partisan group, joined efforts to encourage people to vote "yes," promoting the millage on social media and mailing out fliers. The group has called efforts to encourage people to vote down "misinformation."
